This year the run will take in the breathtaking river darent and the beautiful and picturesque fields and countryside of the village. A mix of road and country trails will start in the Heathside (DA4 9AZ) and then venture out onto the river darent following along into Westminster Fields. Runners will turn a sharp right and head diagonally up towards the top Dartford/Hawley road where upon turning left will follow a country path towards Franks Lane.
Down Franks Lane and just before the Cricket Ground runners will veer left through two fields before joining The Street at the bottom of Rays Hill and running past the Fighting Cocks pub continuing past Westminster Fields entrance on the left and following round to the bottom of Bull Hill before turning left along Horton Road past the church and school. Runners will cross Jacobs Lane before turning right onto a diagonal path across a country field coming out on Skinney Lane and continuing over onto another footpath which goes down and then up onto Rabbits Road. Here runners turn right out of the footpath onto Rabbits Road and then not long after a left into Wilson Lane. After this small road loop runners come out of Wilson Lane and turn left back along Gills Road before coming off of the road into Gills Farm where a footpath will lead you across beautiful and scenic farmland where in the distance the skyline of London can be seen. Runners drop back down into South Darenth at an opening near the Rabbits Road and East Hill junction and then turn right onto a footpath leading back into the Heathside to finish
