We’re back !!! After Covid hit us all hard RunHappyRunHealthy had a hiatus and after much encouragement from the running community we are back with a bang to start 2024 and onwards !
Running has given all of us many fond memories, helped unite us with friends and make stories to share with our family. Telling them of successes and tribulations, whether that be our personal best times, our niggly little injuries or just the fact that we love to run.
Together we are united in improving our wellbeing, both physically and mentally. It is well documented that running strengthens your muscles and bones, develops heart strength, improves blood flow around the body and helps to maintain a healthy weight. In addition running can reduce stress and anxiety, prevent cognitive decline, create calmness, improve brain function and help us with our sleep.
The benefits of running are clear to see. We want you all to enjoy our races and come back for more.
Soon we intend to bring workshops for toddlers to a village hall near you espousing the values of fundamental movements in all pre-school children and getting them moving in an athletic fashion.
